COFA day
on Friday 17th, me and a friend visited the COFA library
it was quite a day, I managed to leave a shopping bag on the bus (sigh)
and we got lost, walking up and down oxford st in the rain
BUT managed to find our way
borrowed a book: "handbook of regular patterns" by Peter S.Stevens

Hi,
My name is Vivian and I'm at my first year at UNSW studying Industrial Design.
Its been the 3rd week in and today I had a workshop (yay love the workshops) using lathe and made a handle, which could be used to carry shopping bags :)
its been quite a week, uni work load is building up :O
the task for nxt week is to create two posters with repetitive patterns of a product from our given designer, one needs to be static and the other dynamic
plus I was put into groups of 15 to create a large colour wheel
and what I've learnt about industrial design fundamentals is that posters needs to be mounted on STIFF cardboard perfectly and NO smudges or fingerprints can be made on the white cardboard
ie: it needs to be in a professional standard
its getting tougher but hanging in there
